| 1. Clean raspberry stands cutting out fruited canes, which will not refruit. If suckers have become unruly, dig up and move to a more suitable location. |
| 2. Irrigate your growing areas when needed but start tapering off toward the end of august. |
| 3. Prune back wisteria and other vigorous climbers. |
| 4. Harvest vegetables frequently and keep fruiting plants well watered. |
| 5. Fertilize late-flowering plants. |
| 6. Divide iris and other spring to early summer-flowering perennials and transplant. |
| 7. Plant fall rye. |
| 8. Continue feeding plants in containers and hanging baskets; water daily. |
| 9. Keep up yard maintenance by removing any fallen fruit and dead plant debris. |
| 10. Clean greenhouse. |
| 11. Give late-blooming plants another dose of food. |
