CHANGING WITH THE SEASONS |

Like the ever-changing undulations of a Lava Lamp, Swan Lake's landscape changes with the
seasons. In early Spring, we showcase a massive display of Vegetable, Flower and Herb seeds, together with all the necessary accessories, like trays and domes, peat pellets and fertilizer, rock wool and organics. The Spring bulbs arrive a little later, of all kinds and descriptions, bringing the daydreams of summer days close to mind. Later in Spring, the shrubs and bedding plants arrive by the cartload, featuring new varieties of the year, and old favourites. We dress up our display with an impressive array of garden toys - from unique pots and planters, to ponds and statuary, fountains and wall sconces... everything you need to add a personal flair to your surroundings. In Summer, we're taken over by local produce - peaches, pears, cherries, asparagus, tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, all fragrant from days in the warm sun, ripening to perfection. And, of course, for the canners in the crowd, we stock an abundance of pickling spice, jars, sugar, salt, pectin and fresh dill, garlic and other herbs. In fall, the fall-planting bulbs arrive, along with the local pumpkins and squash, just scurrying out the door in time for us to dress the store up for the coming Christmas season. Throughout the year, our buyers find novel products that we think you might find interesting and unique, and we tuck these away on the shelves for you to discover and be delighted. Swan Lake, ever-changing, and yet ever the same, offering the community a place to shop, relax, wander, explore, chat... what your shopping experience used to be, and can be again. |
