Flowers in abundance.
Florist’s Azalea, this tender winter and spring-blooming house plant flowers in abundance in shades of pink, white, peach, lavender, red or bi-coloured.
To choose a high-quality azalea that will bloom for several weeks, look for a plant with a few blooms and lots of tight buds just beginning to show colour. The leaves should be rich, dark green and the plant should be compact and full.
Bright light, no direct sun.
To maintain, keep soil thoroughly moist. If allowed to dry out, foliage shrivels and flowers wilt. As the blooms fade, remove the flowers.
