Shaka Zulu Gladiolus is Named after the great Zulu king, this regal Gladiolus is a new addition this year.
The blooms have deep maroon saturated petals with a pure white streak across the flower’s centre, and a scattering of white sprinkles.
Each sword-like flower stem counts up to 10 blossoms. Gladioli grow in well-draining soils and full sun. When planting, set corms close together so that they can hold each other up and require less staking. Protect them from windy situations.
Excellent for cut flowers, containers or mixed borders. Blooms late summer.
